The Care Home has the responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents when they are using the garden of the Care Home and any external areas, while at the same time enabling the residents to gain full enjoyment from them. It is the aim of the Care Home to ensure barrier free access to the garden or grounds of the Care Home, and where appropriate to ensure the residents are properly supervised when using these areas.
