Three more nurses have been suspended as part of an inquiry into the alleged falsification of patient records at south Wales hospitals.
It comes after seven nurses were suspended from the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend over the last year.
Two further workers from the hospital have been suspended along with a nurse at Swansea’s Morriston Hospital.
Three other nurses were arrested as part of the investigation last year.
A spokesperson for Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board said it took the action after carrying out audits and spot checks on blood glucose record-keeping across all its hospitals.
The investigation started after issues surrounding record keeping arose in 2013.
That resulted in three nurses being arrested on suspicion of neglect following claims notes had been falsified.
The three have been released on bail and the criminal inquiry is continuing.
