Alcohol and Drug Misuse  Employees Policy

The Care Home’s policy is to aim to support affected employees, who suffer from alcohol, drug, or other illegal substance abuse. Possession of, or dealing in, drugs or other illegal substances at work will be reported immediately to the Police and the Care Inspectorate. The Care Home will also treat this as a disciplinary matter. If an employee admits to being a recreational drug abuser, the Care Home will seek to help him or her.
